![]() This original German field kitchen was just brought over from Holland. It was abandoned by the retreating German Army and stored by a farmer for over 60 years. It is in near-mint condition! |
This original Wehrmacht mobile field kitchen has a 200 liter stew pot and 90 liter coffee kettle. The Wehrmacht was adamant that soldiers be supplied with a hot meal every day. This field kitchen was affectionately called 'the goulash cannon' by the troops.

'Der Feldkuche'
This mobile field kitchen could feed up to 120 men. Each Kompanie was issued one. It was kept close behind the lines so German Soldaten could get a hot meal. Brave food cariers risked their lives to bring hot food to their Kameraden.
